Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil Properties

Cinnamon Leaf essential oil is for EXTERNAL use only and  should always be diluted with a suitable carrier oil before applying to the skin. Keep it away from children and pets.
Do not use if pregnant.

SAFETY DATA:
Cinnamon Leaf oil is relatively non-toxic, but a  possible irritant.

EXTRACTION:
Steam distillation from the leaves

CHARACTERISTICS:
Yellow to brownish liquid with a spicy & warm odor. 

ACTIONS:
Antbelmintic, anti diarrheal,
antidote (to poison), antimicrobial, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiputrescent, aphrodisiac, astringent, carminative, digestive, emmenagogue, hemostatic, orexigenic, parasiticide, remgerant, spasmolytic, stimulant.

AROMATHERAPY - HOME USE:
Skin Care: Lice, scabies, tooth and gum care, warts, wasp stings.
Circulation, Muscles and Joints: Poor circulation,
rheumatism.
Digestive System: Anorexia, colitis, diarrhea, dyspepsia, intestinal infection, sluggish digestion, spasm. Genito-urinary System: Childbirth (stimulates contractions), frigidity, leucorrhea, metrorrhagia, scanty periods.
Immune System: Chills, colds, flu, infectious diseases. Nervous System: Debility, nervous exhaustion and stress related conditions.

OTHER USES:
 Used for fragrance and therapeutic actions in nasal sprays, cough syrups and dental preparations, soaps, cosmetics, toiletries and perfumes, food flavoring, especially alcoholic and sift drinks.
