Citric acid, USP food grade Kosher anhydrous. Citric acid has many uses such
as in your bath bombs, fizzies and for making fizzing bath salts. Combined with baking soda, citric acid
is what puts the fizz in your bath bombs and fizzies. Use between .25 and 1%. citric acid in lotions to
balance the acidity. It also can be used to make cottage cheese, help add tartness to your homemade
lemonade and other citrus based recipes. Also known as 'sour salt'. Citric acid is a natural acidic
ingredient found in all citrus fruits and is used primarily in sausage making, or canning to keep fruits
from discoloring. Try adding some to your dishwasher to help keep it clean and take the soap scum off
your glasses.
As stated on our sodium hydroxide page, the citric acid can NOT be shipped together with any order containing sodium hydroxide. It MUST be ordered seperatly!
