Colloidal Oatmeal

Our Colloidal oatmeal is a USP grade fine grain, almost a powder, and allows for excellent dispersal in water. The oats are pulverized by the use of rollers.

Colloidal oatmeal can be used as a protein source, binder and thickener in many different skin care products such as lotions, soap, creams and bath related products like milk baths and bath teas as well as the traditional oatmeal bath.

Traditionally, colloidal oatmeal has been used to soothe, moisturize and soften dry skin. It has been known to be helpful in soothing many irritating skin conditions and may help to relieve itchy rashes and skin conditions such as eczema, shingles, chickenpox, as well skin as insect bites, stings, sores, and other minor skin irritations.
