Hempseed oil is from the seed of the hemp plant. Our cold-pressed hemp oil is a dark green, brownish color. It is a moisturizing and penetrating oil that can be used directly on the skin and is a valuable addition to skin care products and soaps.
Hempseed oil, naturally rich in omega 3, 6 and 9, also contains important minerals, vitamins and antioxidants, It is high in vitamins A and E and is very effective ingredient in anti-inflammatory skin care products.
Hempseed Oil is excellent for providing essential fatty acids to your skin. Use it in soaps, lotions, lip balms, healing salves, body balms, foot products.The fatty acids are high in antioxidant protection aand will also help to protect your skin from moisture loss. It is recommended that you refrigerate your hempseed oil or freeze it for a longer shelf life. Hempseed oil can be used up to 15% of your total oils in soap and up to 50% in your lotions and other toiletries that call for liquid oils. Hempseed oil has been known to reduce inflammation, eczema, & psoriasis as well.
