True castile soaps are generally all olive oil, but low on suds, so I created one with a little palm and coconut oil to add extra lather. If you want some extra lather using an all olive oil castile, add 1/2 teaspoon Yucca Root Powder per lb of oils.

100% Castile Soap Recipe

For the pure castile soap, I always use a higher minxing temp to help bring it to trace faster. About 110 degrees for the oils and water temps. The pure castile soap will make a hard bar, but needs longer times to harden than other recipes.
The recipes below are for a 5% superfat ratio, and contain the least amount of water required for each recipe for faster curing.

32oz Olive Oil

Lard Soap Recipe
40oz Lard
22oz Olive Oil
14oz Coconut Oil
2oz Castor Oil
2oz Shea Butter
26 - 31oz water
11.10oz Lye

Shaving Soap Recipe.
12 oz Rice Bran Oil
12 oz Lard
10 oz Coconut Oil
4 oz Jojoba Oil
3 tsp Bentonite Clay
5.3 oz Lye
12 oz water
 

Bath Salts
2 cups dead sea salts - plain sea salt can be used also
1 cup Epson salt
2 tbs cornstarch
1 - 2 tsp dendritic salt - kosher salt to help retain fragrance
1/4 tsp mica coloring or 3 -4 drops food coloring
10 - 20 drops of fragrance oil
Mix all dry ingredients well in a re closeable baggie
Add your color a bit at a time and mix in the baggie until the color is uniform
Now add your fragrance oil 2 drops at a time, mixing after addition, until it is at the strength you desire.
Transfer into the container you have chosen to package the salts in.
Allow to sit for about 1 week, giving it a shake every day or 2 to mix.
1/4 to 1/3 cup of the salts are used per bath.
